Cantine Barbera 2008 Nero d'Avola, Sicily Nero d'Avola is a native variety to Sicily. It produces deeply flavoured, Rhone-like reds with intense spicy flavours. This example is made by the Barbera sisters Daniella and Marilena whose family have been grape growers in Menfi for generations, but have more recently created their own winery.
