Marco Porello 2009 Roero Arneis 'Camestri'
Regular Price: UK£11.99
Special Price: UK£10.19
- Grape Blend: Arneis
- Origin: Italy, Piedmont
- Producer: Marco Porello
- Style: Aromatic Whites
- Tasting Note: Arneis is a native variety of Piedmont, producing semi-aromatic wines, light in body but with very attractive citrusy palates. Marco Porello produces the best example we have yet tasted: unlike most Arneis, Marco's wine has some body, and its creamy texture fills the palate, yet has a long, crisp finish.
-
Marco Porello 2008 Nebbiolo d'Alba

Special Price: UK£10.19
- Grape Blend: Nebbiolo
- Origin: Italy, Piedmont
- Producer: Marco Porello
- Style: Medium Bodied Reds
- Tasting Note: Marco Porello's Nebbiolo is the best value example of this variety we have tasted. Nebbiolo reaches its peak with the great (and expensive) wines of Barolo and Barbaresco, but Marco has managed to capture all the fragrance and elegance of this variety whilst at the same time making it easy to drink, and does not need any laying down.

- Tasting Note: Einaudi is perhaps the best producer of this underrated grape variety. In Dogliani, Dolcetto is king rather than third best to Barbera and Nebbiolo as in other areas. Rich and fruity with scents of undergrowth and blackberries.
